27 shots but no goals…a long way to go Busy Jeju-North Korea draw

Professional soccer K League 1 teams Jeju United and Jeonbuk Hyundai fired off a combined 27 shots on goal but were unable to find a winner.

Jeju and Jeonbuk played to a 0-0 draw in the 29th round of the Hana OneQ K League 2023 at Jeju World Cup Stadium on Wednesday.

It was Jeju’s third consecutive draw (D1, D2). Jeju remained in ninth place with 35 points from nine wins, eight draws and 12 losses.

Jeonbuk, without a win in four matches (three draws), remained in fifth place with 12 W, 7 D, 10 L, and 43 points.

After a scoreless first half, Jeonbuk head coach Dan Petrescu took Hapa Silva off and brought on Song Min-gyu. Song Min-gyu had a chance to score at the start of the second half, but his shot was late and caught in the opponent’s defense.
