Jürgen Klinsmann’s controversy has come under scrutiny.
The U.S. edition of sports media ‘bolavip’ said on the 18th, “Klinsmann is not an easy person. He is a legendary striker, but his execution is not good.”
“Klinsmann won the 2013 Gold Cup as head coach of the U.S. national team, but he also reached the semifinals of the 2016 Copa America Centenario, losing to Argentina and Colombia,” it said, highlighting his past performance.
“Klinsmann’s South Korea has yet to win a game. They have been criticized for their lack of promise.”
He also mentioned that Klinsmann will soon hold a Zoom press conference with the South Korean media.
Klinsmann took over the reins of the South Korean national team in February, replacing Paulo Bento.
Klinsmann held a press conference in March to formalize his three-year, five-month journey to qualify for the 2026 World Cup in North and Central America.안전놀이터
Klinsmann’s appointment was met with some skepticism. His track record hasn’t been good. Most notably, he’s managed teams from home while living abroad.
Klinsmann was also criticized for his frequent traveling and working from home during his time with the German and US national teams.
Living locally was also an important part of the process of taking over as head coach of the South Korean national team.
“Of course I will live in Korea,” Klinsmann promised at the time.
However, Klinsmann’s promise has not been fulfilled.
Klinsmann has spent most of his time in the United States with his family, except for March and June, when he was in charge of the A matches. Since his appointment, he hasn’t won a game with two draws and two losses, which has led to more criticism.
His mind is elsewhere than the Korean national team. He has been criticized for his irresponsible behavior, focusing on interviews about the Tottenham Hotspur junior’s transfer to Bayern Munich and Lionel Messi’s arrival in the United States.
In response to the bad publicity, the Korean Football Association reportedly organized a zoomed-in press conference with Klinsmann and a select group of domestic media.
